WHERE The Former Bowling Pavillion Alexandra Park, Hastings, East Sussex

ORGAINISED BY The Grow Project. Part of Art in the Park

SUGGESTED DONATION £5

With special guest Steve le Squeeze

Myself and Steve havent given a talk together for a couple of years. Expect banter as well as a lovely introduction to how to grow your own superfoods, on your windowsill. We will bring samples of bean sprouts and micro greens, tell you about the benefits of each one, show you how to grow them and even let you taste them!!  There are so many scientific studies about the benefits of sprouted foods. Steve used to dream that they would invent the perfect vitamin pill one day, and now thinks that sprouts are the nearest thing to that, they are easy to digest, full of nutrients, cheap to grow. They can help fight cancer, ease menopause symptoms, fight cholesterol, they are good for the brain, the heart and they add hard to find nutrients to your diet.  I love the fact that we have been growing sprouts for over 10,000 years, and hate it that they have fallen out of fashion, Lets bring them back, this workshop will show you how, plus as a bonus Steve will show you how to make your own delcious incredibly healthy seed milk.
