What’s in the book?
The book is divided into five sections, Part 1 is theory, written in an easy to read style, it gives the history of our hormonal health, and the latest science around ovaries, showing why some women manage to menopause without problems and how you can become one of them. It provides proof that plant progesterone exists and how to get it in your diet. Plus it shows how plant hormones fight off nasty chemicals in the environment and help our hormone balance.
Part 2 is my menopause diary and those of my friends, real stories from real women growing their own HRT.
Parts 3 shows you how to work out how much you need, and looks at other ways of bringing plant hormones into your life. It has a symptoms guide and shows which sprouted foods can help specific illnesses and how to avoid industrial hormones in the environment.
Part 4 is a comprehensive guide to sprouting a range of different hormone rich beans and seeds, from very easy to complicated. It looks at what to grow in, other reasons to eat them, troubleshooting and the best ways to get them into your life.
